Do you have time that you would like to give or volunteer hours that you need for a program? Join us at the GVAPF in our mission to help others. Below are some ways you can help. Please fill out the form and submit it.
- Administration/Volunteer coordinator- client tracking, maintaining contact and assigning duties for volunteers and compiling criminal record checks
- Food distribution- delivering food to our clients
- Food drives- collecting monetary and food donations at schools and businesses
- Fund raising- helping at dog washes, silent auctions and other fund raising activities
- Outreach- presentations to service clubs, schools, etc., maning booths at fairs and markets and representing us in parades
- Labour/Driver- picking up food donations, moving, stacking and loading pet food donations
- Dog walking- walking dogs for the elderly and physically challenged
