The GVAPF was inspired by a news story of a nine year old boy named Zach in Central Florida who saw an increasing number of surrendered pets in his community shelters. When he asked why, the answer was that with the economic down turn many people could no longer afford to feed them. With the help of his parents, he started the Animal Pantry of Central Florida (http://www.animalpantry.org/) and is saving the lives of many animals. |
